Earno is better with friends. A few simple ground rules keep shared challenges supportive and safe.
Shared challenges are about encouragement. Celebrate wins, support each other through slip-ups, and keep it kind. No mocking, pressuring, or making anyone feel bad about their money or their progress.
Log your real resists and slip-ups. Inflating your progress only fools yourself, and it makes a shared challenge unfair for everyone else in it.
What happens in a shared challenge stays there. Do not screenshot or share your friends' progress outside the app, and always respect it when someone hides their progress. Slip-ups are private by design, so keep it that way.
Remember that a challenge name is visible to everyone in that challenge, and appears in the notifications and invitation emails they receive. Name other people's challenges the way they would want, and think before you put something private in your own.
Invite friends by their real email address, and only people who want to take part. Do not use invitations to spam, advertise, or contact strangers.
Challenge names and your profile must not contain hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or otherwise harmful or illegal content, and must not target another person. Do not impersonate anyone.
Do not create or promote challenges that encourage self-harm, disordered eating, or anything illegal. Earno is a tool for building healthier habits, not a place for harm.
If you are working on something that affects your health, Earno can cheer you on, but please get proper support from a doctor or a qualified service as well.
If someone breaks these guidelines, remove them from your challenge and contact us at support@earno-app.com. We may remove content, or limit or end accounts, when these guidelines or our Terms of Service are broken.
